I think perhapsThey gave their allWay back whenIt was fall! But don't worry, they'll be budding soon! :-)
How nice is the sleeping forest!
Spring seems a distant thing here...
And sweet dreams! This is such a beautiful sight!
Here we have the first signs of autumn...
Wonderful atmosphere, so peaceful.
I love Aspens! So much I planted 3 in our yard. They are not so grand as these, but they've grown quite a bit. Hope you go back and visit this area in the fall, Randy! :)
It's funny, some of our trees know it's spring and some don't. The snow makes me go brrrr :)
I'm sure those green leaves will be bursting forth soon.
Still to cold to wake up in the Mtns. Maybe they need rest from the showy leaves they produced in the fall last year.
It is so different! Nice shot Randy.
Their feet are still sitting in the icy snow!
Shame on me. I've been missing since a month! But you are as great as always... Have a nice life man! ;)
That's a beautiful view! I'm sure in a few weeks they'll be ready for spring.
I bet in a month that scene will look completely different Randy. I think it looks fantastic in winter mode!
awww. hope it arrives there, soon!
Esperando o momento certo para acordar
Yes, I was thinking this photo looks like winter. Although the colors are definitely pretty. I wonder how it would look with the bottom part cropped to make more of a square shape.
Looks like a peaceful walk in the winter woods! Randy, the new camera is a Sony SLR a35.I started out with Minolta and had about 6 lenses and when I got a digital I wanted one that would take my AF lenses. Sony was the one that would.
Yes, sleep tight. We don't want them to put on their spring "clothes" too early and be surprised by another snowfall.
What a contrast to the weather here. You can't imagine how hot it was this afternoon.
It sure doesn't look like spring - they are resting a bit longer!
Happy Spring. FELIZ PRIMAVERA RANDY.Greetings.
Perhaps they are as confused as we humans have been with the capricious weather that has been operating around the globe.
The high altitude keeps the snow on the ground and tree buds away. Beautiful scene!
BUt they look so beautiful in sleeping mode! :)
Well it is not that way here in GA - can't believe you still have snow. sandie
I'll send of my spring your way. We are having summer temps!
Love the look of the bare aspens!
There is no hurry, Randy.
Randy, sleeping in the winter is a fine thing for anything, anyone, to get to do. Glad you like the post today. Thanks!
Such a good idea!
A good hike !
Hope Spring arrives soon in your part of the world, Randy!
It is still March. All of us here in Nebraska have to keep reminding ourselves of that. I would love to walk in the snow just one more time this year : )
