Now here is a place I am sure we would all love to shop in. I wasn't sure what kind of store it was but I saw that awning from a distance and I had to check it out. So glad I did. I would love to see that neon lit up at night.
If this is, indeed, what it seems to be, you are very fortunate! Our last camera shop in Ocala is closing down! So sad. It was just a few years ago that I spent many hours in my favorite camera store in Ft. Lauderdale - then they went out of business. It ain't the same trying to talk cameras with a sales clerk at Walmart or Target!
So many camera stores have gone the way of the dodo bird with the advent of digital and amazon. New technology has been wonderful for the ordinary guy but camera retailers are becoming a thing of the past. The closest camera store to me is now over 150 miles away!
i love this cute little camera shop...so happy to see at least one still exists out there! yes, your new mission is to go photograph the sign at night!
My first thought was, hmmm, I did not know of this camera shop... then I scrolled down to see that you've been in ABQ. Hope you had a nice time. Love those old motel signs! Happy midweek- hope your class is going well! :)

Such a multi-colored day! What have you shopped?
They've got spunk!
Me too, on the neon at night
Very colorful awning. I bet the products inside were as awesome!

Oh yes, that is a place I would love to go into.
Funny name, I would really like to have a look inside...
This sounds like the kind of place a photo-blogger would love.

Yup you're right Randy, a shop that sells 'everything for photography' would be tres interesting look around.
My kind of place!

Great old sign...I think it would be interesting to see what they have!
Is there any way you can change the size of your lettering in your posts? Maybe a little bigger, I can barely read it.
cool and retro-ish. :)

Did you go inside? Huh? Huh? Did you?
The awning is a good attention getting addition. I would have to go in there!
I would like to have a conversation with Kurt... We could have a party there with all the blog photographers.

Love the signs!
Almost worth a trip back to see it at night!
Hope you'll show us what's inside, Randy! :-)
beautiful shop and shot Randy
Signs and awnings designed to test the capabilities of the colour capturing capacity of your camera! ;-)
Great shot!
Nice colours, wonderful sign!
Oh, yes, this looks like the kind of place I could spend all day.
Great looking signs! In fact the whole store with it's colors is very inviting!
Love that awning.
I agree with you totally, Randy, about the shopping and especially about the neon.
At first I chuckled, it sounded like a used car lot... but I'd like to shop around!
