Cold Water

It was a nice warm day yesterday. I decided to go for a hike and was surprised by the amount of snow up on the mountain. I caught this on one of my favorite trails. I hope you all have a great start to your week.

Nice to see you got to get on the trails yesterday. The Creeks and Rivers will appreciate the snow melt!

I think I'd need heavy socks if I were to dip my toes into that water. ;-)

Nice image! Have a super week!

I think it's good to know there is still snow, and therefore water, in the mountains. Lovely shot!

I'm sure it's frigid water, considering you still have snow in the mountains! I love that coppery color underneath the water.

I am grateful I only have to deal with wetness, mud and slop...never snow. Have a good week Randy.

I think you must be pretty fit Randy, you do quite a lot of hikes! What a nice surprise to come across the snow, you must have been quite high up!

Looks great. I love going up Big T and using my water filter to get some of that cold, clean Sangre de Cristo water. Sweet nectar of life!

That is a fair bit of snow on the mountain! We are supposed to get 5-10 cm of snow today (spring storm!) but we desprately need the moisture.. Nice shot Randy.

Did you dip your toe into that water? What a refreshing hike that must have been.

It's cold enough here today for snow - after 78˚F last week!

Oh the crisp mountain air, I could almost breathe it in looking at the remaining snow.

Glad you caught that before it all melted. The water looks so crystal clear.

Our snow is long gone. It would be nice to have a bit of precipitation though!
