Another chance shot. This young woman was ready for happy hour at Zinc Wine Bar & Bistro in Albuquerque. Well almost, a brown purse with a black dress. Isn't that a faux pas? I hope the hours in your weekend are happy ones.
That is exactly what my mother taught me. Never brown with black. But, I hear lately that if your purse has the LV emblem all over it, it goes with everything. :-)
Oh, but that looks like a designer bag so if that's the case, all convention is out the door. That may also be like the old rule of not wearing white after Labor Day. Also out the door!
i would love to attend that happy hour....her dress is pretty and i'm not one to match my clothes with my purse! i really don't care, unless of course i am going to something formal, which is rare, then i'd make sure my bag matched my outfit, that is if i even carry one! usually i just hand my id to my husband to put in his wallet!
Well I am not a fashion rule follower, I do try to match belts with shoe color though. Purses are too much work to change out, except for a special occasion. Is this the Nob Hill area? Great shot!
If you aren't looking where you're going, you could run into that sign. Her heels aren't as high as the ones I posted today. I think I might be able to wear the ones this lady is has on.
I'm surprised you noticed, Randy! Most guys can't remember what you wore from one day to the next, let alone color combinations of things. Maybe it's just a computer bag :)
Well, this looks almost like a Dior ad from the fifties. Except that the purse colour would have had to match the shoe colour, not the dress!!! Fantastic shot!
Well, I guess it depends on what name is on that bag. I'm very interested in the man's legs "hurrying" away in the background. So much going on in this one, Randy. Happy Friday!
I commit a fashion faux pas daily... being seen about town in my unfashionable thrift store clay clothes. Ah, but I can just say "I'm an artist," I think we are allowed to get away w/ such things. It is a cute dress & shoes- I don't think I have ever been that fashionable.
I LOVE the lovely black dress. A Vuitton bag is thought to match pretty much everything, but I'd prefer this dress with a dainty purse worthy of Holly Golightly. In any case, the pleasure of the image is not sullied for me by the bag choice. Nice photo!

Oh, you are a guy with fashion knowledge, Randy:)
Fashion "rules" are no longer sacrosanct. Looks good to me, as does the menu!
Cool!
enjoy your night!

Wish we had these kinds of happy hours in Toronto.

I haven't followed those rules in so long, I do know my mother still does :)
I really like the menu tho.
First to admit I know nothing about ladies fashion but that dress and shoes reminds me of the 50's and 60's! The price of Happy Hour, todays times!
you're making me laugh!!!
One of the nicer things about getting old is you don't have to worry about such fashion faux pas! I mean, who cares?
Nice legs. I see you got them focused and sharp in the picture. :-)

Fashion? Don't know a thing about it. My guess is she probably paid more for the purse than the dress.
She probably figured no one IN the bar would notice she's not matching (since it's happy hour)!
Good eye for fashion Randy!
Nice shot! I don't know fashion but I would be happy to critique the drinks. ;) Happy weekend to you Randy! =)
It is interesting to read bruschetta so far away from Tuscany. I hope it's the same simple and delicious thing...
What a very cool capture! Well seen and well done, Randy.
Awesome capture Randy! So much fun. Have a nice weekend.

Great capture Randy! I wonder if the bag is real or a knock-off?

You are asking about women's fashion rules? You have the wrong guy here, that is for sure!
That's great Randy. Made me smile.
Cool capture, Randy.

I'm surprised the fashion police hasn't arrested yet, Randy! :-)
Well, if you are LEAVING Happy Hour then most likely you won't notice - or care!
