Purple Gate

Not a color you see that often here on a gate. As you all know by now they are usually Turquoise. I guess the museum wanted something different. I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend.

The Blogger problem seems like it will be around for awhile so if missed your blog I will get to you when I can.

A nice, strong contrast, may be too strong for me. There, in SF, I prefer turquoise.

It's a very striking colour to welcome the weekend!

It is really a DEEP color. I wish that the CDP problem would be solved a little more quickly. Sigh!

That's purple? I had some problems getting the comment section to open on some blogs last night and others were okay. The problem seems resolved this a.m.

Wow, that's a stunning purple! I love it! (Though I have to say turquoise is still my favorite.)

I hope you have a great weekend!

Maybe my screen is showing something different b/c the gate looks blue to me. But it's definitely bright and catches the eye!

That's funny, Randy, 'cause on my computer the gate shows up as bright blue! Very nice, though.

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with CDP - looks like the whole site went kaput!

Bonjour Randy
I LOVE this gate, the blue is intensive and I like the angle in this picture!
You are lucky, I think the Sun is shining every day in your place! :)
I wish you a lovely weekend,

Such a saturated colour! It will probably fade to something more Santa Fe-ish. ;-)

The bright colors of Santa Fe never fail to please the eyes as they contrast the adobe walls and buildings. I like the change from turquoise every now and then.

HELLO DOOR!

I remember once seeing a house out near Bobcat Bite that had a purple color to it's stucco and when dusk fell it would blend seamlessly with the sky. It was like 'here one second, gone the next'

You certainly won't miss it : )

My laptop shows it as blue, too, but I have had other purple objects appear blue on this laptop. I got something that calibrates the colors of computer monitors and plan to run it this weekend to get the colors right.

It's blue for me too Randy, but eh! whatever colour it is it's intense and extremely beautiful, if I had a gate, I'd like it that colour too.

Although I prefer the typical Santa Fe blue, I don't see this as a purple gate. Maybe I need new glasses, right? :-)

That's a very intense blue! I wouldn't use it on my gate, but it looks fine where it is.
