A Little Patch

Even though most of our snow in the city is gone there are still little patches to be found in some tucked away places. I couldn't resist this shot when I saw the shadow of the little tree.

That little tree has so many buds on it Randy, won't be long before it's sprouting lovely green leaves again.

There are some corners where the snows seems to last forever...

I always loved the way the snow stayed in little shaded places while all the other snow was long gone.

A nice artistic study in light, shadow, and design. Good eye!

It looks like a warm day with the sun casting it's shadow.

The shadow, the snow, the pop of blue...this is quintessential Randy. Lovely.

Thank you for your kind words..I have missed all of my friends as well. "Lucy, I'm home!" :) Now, where's the wine?

Those are great shadows the little tree is casting. I like the little bits of red on the tree, and the bit of blue on the window pane.

A very balanced pic. Strong shadow cast on the stucco wall, a blue window ledge, white snow.........You have the eye for the shot!

The branches of this little shrub and the rock look very good against the adobe. What doesn't look good against the adobe?!

I imagine that little tree appreciates the extra moisture. :)

Sun and snow - a winning combination. It's good to drop in on the beauty of your snow and not have to battle it outside my front door!

I would appreciate a little patch like this right now. Not a flake in sight here.

Well-spotted, Randy. It's almost abstract and makes for an elegant photo.
