When I say this little tree in the middle of all of these trees I was reminded of being a kid and thinking "One day I will be as big as you." The things that go through your mind when your out on a hike.
I love the logic of kids. :) These are my favorite kind of trees, the tall skinny ones that look like they're stretching straight up to heaven. Really nice capture.
Children have impossible dreams..we all do... Tell me something: do you REALLY HAVE ALL THAT SNOW???????? I Have cold, but I DO NOT HAVE ANY SNOW!!! (I am in PORTUGAL)

Good thoughts !
All kinds of things go through one's mind on hikes like this because our mind is quiet and influenced by nature ad the beauty around us, I think!
Very clever pic!
God bless you!

The plays wonderful games with us when we are alone with our thoughts. Wonderful snow shot here.
Funny how our minds work -- amazed this little feller has taken a foothold amongst these bigger guys! :)

Oh but it's got such a lot of growing to do before it catches up Randy, cute little find in the forest!
Those are the things that make photography so enjoyable for me. Great capture.
The snow looks like Cool Whip.
awesome find and great words to go with...
I love hikes and nature walks for just that reason - letting your mind wander and think about whatever comes up.
Wonderful pic to go along with your, little to big, story from childhood!

I like that it looks like it's
prospering in the face of such adversity.
It looks well protected by the grown-ups!
Cute and a dream... It reminds me more of Hans-Christian Andersen's tale 'the fir tree'...
