Ghost Ranch

This is part of the grounds and the mountains surrounding it. If you checked out the link from Monday's post you might have checked out some of the classes and retreats held there. I would love to take a painting class there one day.

It looks a bit like a scene you might see in 'outback' Australia Randy, very desolate and hot looking!
There will be something on my post tomorrow that I hope you will enjoy Randy.

i've always wanted to take a painting class...i thought i'd be able to start when all the kids were in school but then i ended up getting a part time job at my older 2 kid's high school and wouldn't you know, they have a local painting class once a month that meets while i'm at school, blah!

A wonderful place for a "retreat." Time's a-wasting, my friend. Go sign up for that painting class now.

How could you not help but get in touch with nature and your inner self in a place like this?

I would want to bring my horse to that place and ride out into the beautiful landscape.

Interesting how this photo actually has a ghostly look to it, at least to my eyes.

Looks dry. This is where the cowboys and Indians would have had their fights in the Westerns of the 50s.

Randy, I'm running out of words, great scenic shot. Realy a place to be and to be creativ. I would like to pitch a tent near by. And maybe take a class. Or take my camera.

Very stark, dry landscape, Randy. I agree with PerthDalyPhoto - very much like an Australian Outback landscape!
Great capture.
