Old Wall

This old wall on Delgado Street is one of the most photographed walls in our city. You can find it on cards and postcard and probably some galleries but always in color. We had some snow in the morning so I took a quick trip after work.

No wonder it's photographed, it's absolutely gorgeous.

The temperature plummeted at last here! Cold... but still not one single snowflake even though snow was in the forecast...

I can see why. Where's my camera?

I like the B&W.
Well done.

The black and white photo is wonderful and a nice departure from the traditional snapshot of color for this wall.

I like the b&w. Puts much more drama into shot. I can see you got a little snow. Don't slip and break your neck!

This looks even medieval!
God bless you!

So unusual! I bet you do have some gorgeous shots in color, too.

I can certainly see why it's often photographed! The shape is pleasing.

It looks very well in B&W. We also have snow, at last! Since yesterday - 30 cm!

Very nice Randy. Thank you.

I am not a fan of B&W and, if I remember well, these colors are too remarkable to end up in a grey scale...

This is really cool. I have seen it on google images quite a few times...although not in B/W...you may be the first!

I think it looks great in B&W!

It makes a beautiful picture in black and white with the snow. It is a great photo opportunity.

That IS a wonderful wall! I like it in B&W. But I'm sure it would also look spectacular in color.

I can certainly understand why it is shot so often! Very moody in B & W!

Lovely capture. The B&W enhances the "old" look...

This is exactly the architecture that I like so much. I don't even need a color photo to imagine the adobe. The old door is fabulous - of course it is so often photographed because it is so darn beautiful. I like your b&w capture.

I would not have expected to see something like this in B&W look so good, but I love it!

PerthDailyPhoto said...

I can see why Randy, it looks so typically what most people would think of as Santa Fe!

The B&W goes really well with the season.
