Green Teachings

This is part of the Santa Fe Community campus. Here is a description from their website: "The School of Trades and Technology offers students an arena in which they can use organizational and designing skills to analyze and creatively develop solutions to our needs for clean water, moderate temperatures and livable buildings." I love walking around this part of the campus just to see whats going on.

I must say this is a real ray of hope in today's world...a place that takes our environmental challenges seriously and tries to do something about them!

Sounds like the Community Campus is a very environmentally aware centre Randy, let's face it the earth needs all the help it can get!

As I was viewing your pic of the building, the Pueblos came to mind. The round entrance resembles a Kiva, the cubicles appear like stacked rooms as were built for living quarters at the pueblos. Or I could just have New Mexico on my mind this morning!

It's a great idea, having places to learn about and discuss green options.

Randy, I worked in & around an institute of technology for many years, it was always interesting to see student projects from beginning to completion.

The environment is a critical issue in the Southwest, esp the difficulties of water conservation. So good to see academic attention to the many issues involved with the hope of getting everyone aboard to solve some of the problems.

It's good to see young people heading in the right direction...now if only they could drag along some of us oldies.
