Spanish Market #1

The Spanish Market has a variety of things to see. There are the traditional artists, the contemporary artist and the Youth Market. Our first stop every year is the Youth market and to see this young artist Jonah Boudreau. He is a Retablo artist and this is the piece "Guardian Angel" that we purchased from him this year. We started a collection of his artwork since our first market 4 years ago. We love to see the way he has grown as an artist and a very gracious young man.

How very cool or you! Cute kid and it's really nice of you to provide that kind of support. Maybe he'll grow up to be famous and you can say you knew him "when"! :-)

He must be so thrilled to have a collector! Putting a piece of yourself out and having someone love it is a wonderful thing. So encouraging for him.

If he becomes successful, there will be the satisfaction of spotting him early and helping fund the early years.
