Fun and pretty colorful! Have a safe trip Randy.
Is your car as bright and colourful as this fantastic one?Have a wonderful weekend!
That's a great sculpture! I love it. I especially appreciate the vibrant colors.
It looks like the three wise men in the back seat of that car!
I don't know how big these are but they look like they could make wonderful toys for kids. I could be all wrong though and these are meant to be displayed and much too expensive for a toy.. Wood toys are such a treasure so I always keep my eyes open.
Always such colorful things here at your blog. Love these carved items. I used to carve wood myself but it has fallen by the wayside. I might pick it back up now, after seeing these!
That looks to be a lot of hours of work put into that art piece. Take some pictures along your road trip to share with us.
It's a beautiful sculpture!Enjoy your trip!hugsLéia
Hope you enjoy your weekend like the guys in that car! ;-)
Fabulous piece! Hope you found a treasure for yourself.
Do you know if the artist is from Oaxaca? This looks like other art works from that region and I simply love it.
Very interesting. I would like to see the artist's work when I come to NM this fall.
It's so good to see that this kind of folk art continues to exist. From the Oaxaca region?
Very colorful. Have fun on your escape weekend.
What a fun and colorful piece. My nephew and nice would love this!Have a fun weekend!
So bright and colorful! Some people have such amazing gifts. Enjoy your time in Denver. Will you go and stay at the haunted Stanley hotel? Boo!
Very cool - love the bright colors!
What a lovely and colorful work!Have a nice trip!
Now that would be fun to take a road trip in that car! Have a safe trip, Randy!
Oh my gosh, I love this piece. I love how there are the 3 kings riding in the backseat! Have a great trip to Denver- sounds like a short trip for a long drive!
I went back & read the comments- after I read Sharon's I went back & clicked to enlarge. Sure enough! I'd go a step further & say it looks like a funky Joseph driving, Mary & baby Jesus in the passenger's seat, the three wise men, an angel & I don't know who the other guy is in the back. I wonder what the cost of this piece was- had to be a lot due to all the work that went into it, but it is a classic!
Nice capture!Have a wonderful week!
