Entrada

At first sight this look like the entrance of a church. It is in fact the front entrance to a gallery on Canyon Road. Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday.

Fire Update: As of a few hours ago the first fire was reported to be 55% contained and the second and largest fire is 6% contained. We have a chance of rain over the next few days. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Beautiful. I would love to step in there and I always thought of a gallery. Santa Fe must be full of them.

Geraniums and adobe seem to go together (hollyhocks, too). The fires are terrible events and I hope that rain arrives soon for your area!

Lovely entrance. It rained just a tad in AZ yesterday and there are rains forecast for the next few days so I hope it's heading east toward you.

That's a very 'Santa Fe' kind of entrance Randy, very pretty. It sounds like the fires are still a massive problem, I so wish I could send some of the heavy rain that we've been having here, I hope you will be able to tell us soon about your own rain.

I like the colors here...a bit atypical for the building.

Sending thought of rain to your locale and keeping my fingers crossed.

What a very, very lovely spot! Entrada is one of the many words we have in common with spanish.

Nice place and corners. I wish you a fire due to rain, but not how many we have this year. They are already flooded some places. Greetings! Peter.

I'm glad the word "contained" can now be used and not just "out of control."

Beautiful "entrada" (we use the same word in Portuguese)!
I hope the rain can definetely contain this fire. Gingers crossed.

Oh this looks so inviting. Is that Jemez that is only 6% contained? Can't tell you how many times I have camped and visited those mountains.
