While in Madrid over the weekend I was shocked to find one of my favorite galleries was gone. I love the adobe wall they had put up and the colors always draw you eyes in. Great space if anyone is looking to start an art space in a funky old mining town.

wow, so beautiful angle and beautiful shot!
love the colours and tones, too. :)
Galleries live strange lives, I hope something new and interesting finds its place here soon.
Wonderful photo. I like the color from the wall and the lines around the door and window.
This does look inviting for an art gallery.
I am sorry to see that the gallery has closed but surely the small space would not be too costly for another venture... perhaps an artisan? Lovely photo.

Hi Randy!
But you mean Madrid (Spain)??? If so, that's the city where I live.
Kind regards,
Antonio
That's always sad when a place you love closes down. Especially when it was unexpected. :(
Hope someone else takes it over!
sounds like YOU should! :)
I wonder what the rent there is. Sorry about your fav gallery closing. I believe it is hard to make a living at making art... let alone in this economy. Still, I would like to try it someday!
I would love to have a space like that.
That is a great wall and colorful door! Too bad it closed. I wonder if it was a victom of the slow economy.
It's so disappointing when you arrive somewhere expecting something and wham! it's gone, Such a lovely building as you say, I'm sure someone will come along who will use it wisely.
Randy, sometimes It's kind of sad to see something go or change!
Great photos as usual! Any rain for you yet?
Too bad Randy. It's a very creative and welcoming store front. I would have gone in for a look. Better luck to the next guy.
Cheers from Montreal.
It's a pity Randy, but I hope another great gallery open in the same address. ;-)
Yes, I too like that old adobe wall. I always enjoy finding some old adobe home out in the desert, wondering about all the work it took to create and how efficient they are too. Nice shot.
Oh, that's too bad. It does have a lovely curb appeal!
Randy, it looks like the perfect place for you to open a sweet little art gallery that served Watermelon Martinis! :)
How much is the rent?
Great composition! You know I love adobe.
Tür und Fenster sehen aus wie ein gerahmtes Bild, also äußerlich ein geeignetes Gebäude für eine Gallerie.
Have a SUPER week, Randy !
Hope that something interesting opens there!
That's too bad. I hope it works out for another artist! It looks beautiful from the outside, by the way.
A strong composition today, Randy.
That's too bad.. but I suppose that you weren't in Madrid, Spain. Otherwise I could have recommended you the Prado museum instead ;)
Very nice rounded wall!
Madrid always offers surprises. A fun place to visit...my favorite a bar that claims that "there's only one drunk in town--one at a time."
