Big Smile!

It's Friday! Now that alone should make you smile. These sculptures used to be at the entrance of Canyon Road. They now sit next to another gallery mid-way down the road.
Wishing you all a very happy Friday and here is hoping it goes fast and that your weekend is a good one.

Very special sculptures without eyes. I like the smiles. We need smiles. If the sun is shining you see more smiles. We have cloudy and partielly rainy weather.

Looking up at the sky and smelling the flowers ;)

These remind me of some sculptures I saw awhile back here in Toronto. Sometimes a bit of bird poo can make them look even better!

My mother-in-law is coming from Germany this weekend. She'll be here for 10 days. I'm looking forward to having someone to look around the city with.

Doesn't it make you wonder about the inspiration for these pieces?

3000 years from now they will be unearthed thinking they are from some lost civilization that became disgruntled with their Gods and destroyed the statues their ancestors had created.

Ya gotta laugh! I love them! And they seem so appropos to Santa Fe...I don't know why...maybe 'cause they're so artsy!
