Cold Seat.

People were probably standing while waiting for the bus as opposed to arriving at work with wet seats after seeing this bench. Good thing there is a covered bus stop directly behind it.

interesting photo Randy, I didn't know it snowed there, M

But no bench in the bus stop itself...doesn't seem quite fair. I bet that the snow you're getting won't stay very long!

Nothing worse than a wet seat at work. Well, come to think of it, some things may be worse, but a wet seat is pretty bad. :-)

I like the photo. Even the snow looks nice.

Have a great day!

It's beautiful to see everything covered in white (something we don't have here).
Nice shot! ;-)

I've been discussing a visit to Santa Fe with a friend, Randy. I'm seeing a lot of snow in your blog entires. Is this a typical winter?

Looking too chilly to even be remotely appealing to sit upon!

I think I'll stand today, thank you.

Guess it's better than being in the hot seat;)
Like that shot.
It almost looks as though it is just daring someone to sit on it:)
I think I would have....just to "undare" it;)
(After you took that shot of course:))

Even without snow this bench would be cold, because nobody tried to put it away ! it's better so because it's beautiful !!

I'm sure those commuters don't have the same perspective that you do on this bench! Great shot.

Oooo, lovely. I would sit my bottom down right in the middle of that snow if I weren't on my way to work. ;)

Great shot! The snow has finally melted here for the most part, just in time for more snow to fall this weekend! I'm sick of it already lol.

Thanks for your response, Randy. We were thinking about early to mid February.

Lot of snowy benches around these days. Glad there are none here.

Randy,
I bet no one is going to "take a sit"... until after winter !

Best Regards and have a good day,

Looks like a shot from here in Toronto but we have no snow! I am still amazed that you have so much. Nice shot.

That's quite a lot of snow!
Do you often get this much of snow yearly?

A decent picture says thousand words. Nice photography.

I'd pass on the wet seat, too! I believe I love the snow much more than the rain :)
I just noticed the "will blog for comments~" cute!

You're so right, Randy. I remember when we had a whole lot of snow two years ago. At that time I was more thankful than ever for covered bus shelters.

Please stop by on Thursday, after midnight on Wednesday even, at Portland Oregon Daily Photo to see my first ever embedded video. It shows my younger son Leland bouldering at The Circuit in Portland, Oregon, as filmed by his older brother Lamont, who also boulders.
