How many of you saw the short film, "The Red Balloon" by French filmmaker Albert Lamorisse when you were younger? I found my own while walking through Cathedral Park. I hope you find some joy this weekend, Happy Friday!
I thought of that film as soon as I saw your photo. I saw it when I was a kid and still have a VHS tape as I bought it to show my daughter. A really neat film.
I've watched that wonderful film several times over the years, for my own pleasure and to introduce children to this charming tale. I see that you are still following it around. Yea! Keeps you young and alert!! Wonderful background for the balloon.

Terrific capture, Randy! I think I remember that film, but sometimes I hardly remember anything... :)
Yes, I do! :-) This is a fantastic shot, you could write a children's book or at least a poem about it!
I did see it Randy, and I love your whimsical tribute :)
