In the Distance

Clouds were all over town yesterday. Monsoon season has started early this year. I shot this on my way to the Farmer's Market yesterday.

Rain came here too after a few very hot days, but our clouds are nothing like yours! I am envious...

I hope that the monsoon has a positive effect on the drought.

After a strong wind and rain storm our electricity just came on after what seemed like days but was just a 24-hour hiatus. Would hate to live without it.

Rule for a weekend: go where the road takes you... track.

This is a nice track shot. We got some clouds like that but no rain came out of them.

A very cool composition, Randy...love how the tracks lead the eye off into infinity! Nice clouds, too. We've had a lot of rain also, but it let up enough so I could play golf this morning. That was nice of Mother Nature on Father's Day!

Railroad tracks make for the best perspective pictures!

Monsoon season in New Mexico... This sounds like it might be a welcome event for Santa Fe and area?

Between the rails and what coming ahead with the clouds... I like it.
