Last night was opening night for the Santa Fe Bandstand Summer music series. The music was New Orleans Jazz and there was plenty of dancing. The company I work for sponsored the event and this was the view from the table I was working at.
What a crowd! I maxed the photo to see a few familiar faces but they obviously were dancing. Was our favorite female doing her costumed performance there? I suppod you didn't dance?
The event drew a large crowd. I love how the lady in the pink hat is really getting into the music. Last night I watched a travel show that was all about the Santa Fe area. It featured a helicopter ride that took you over the area and going into canyons that are hard to reach on foot. I loved it.

New Orleans jazz is my favourite. I'd have loved to dance along but not yet, not yet... :-)

I would have been in the crowd and would have stopped by your table to say hello! Love jazz. Looks like lots of folks in Santa Fe love jazz, too!

Looks like a good sized crowd!
Too bad you couldn't add a 10 second sound clip of the music to your post...
I love these summertime outdoor concerts. Kudos to your company for being a sponsor.
