I caught this guy while he was waiting for his girlfriend at the Farmer's Market. The details of his tattoo were pretty impressive but you will have to take my word for it. I am too shy when it comes to asking people for a photo.
The Planting for Pollinators class I attending on Saturday was very infomative. Did you know that plants from Home Depot and Lowe's are bad for bees? We also learned about planting your garden so that it sustains bees from Spring thru Fall. So much to learn but if you want to know more check out this website and help save the bees. For the Love of Bees.

Thank you so much for this post.
I linked on to the For Love Of Bees website,
and learned so much about which plants and
flowers to add to my garden.
Spread the word . . .
I think he would have posed for a portrait :)
Glad that you enjoyed the class Saturday Randy. And no I did not know that about Home Depot and Lowe's plants. I have been reading lately that bees are becoming endangered. Sad...
The flowers have my vote. I think that tattoos can be interesting and I admire the cultures for whom this is important, but I've yet to see a tattoo that I would like to attach to my own body
PS. Thanks for the link to bees and flowers. I have a number of sweet places for them but hunk I'll add some sunflowers too.
The Planting for Pollinators sounds like a GREAT class!
You're a sneaky character! I've usually found that when I ask someone for a photo they are happy to pose.
Don't need to know about the tattoo.
Why would plants from Lowe's and Home Depot be bad for bees? Do they put some poison on them?
Nice post RAndy. Thank you for the link to For Love Of Bees.
I love this shot Randy.. It is one of those that show the contradiction between how a person looks and how they really are, he looks like a kind AND patient man :)
tough guy with flowers. :)
I am very interested to that flowers and bee thing, I will check it later. Sorry for the tattoo, that's not my thing...
He is already loaded down with stuff and probably wondering what else he is going to have to carry.
I'm not surprised that the bees are becoming scarce.
Interesting information. We really do need to save the bees. Our own survival is at risk if we lose them.
I am the same way but I've found all you need to say is "That is some great ink work" and the door is open.
I'm not crazy about such total tattoo coverage, Randy!
I'll take your word for the tattoos and I do quite understand about the not wanting to ask. I'm exactly the same.
So what are you going to plant?
I hear you. I always want to take pics of tattoos but I'm embarrassed. When in reality, these people would probably be flattered if we asked! Let's try it. I will if you will!
Home Depot and Lowe's must have GM plants... Never would have crossed my mind! I'll certainly be keeping my eyes open to this.
Let's concentrate on bees this summer!
and ever after of course.
