As for me it was time to come back to Santa Fe. The weekend in Denver was great and as much as I love Santa Fe I realized with this trip that I am a city boy at heart. The sights, and sounds filled me excitement as I walked around downtown Denver. This shot was taken behind the La Fonda Hotel. It's another from the archive but I thought it fitting for my return back to the City Different.

Makes one stop and think which path to take!
well we can't go right...welcome home!
I'd say that is perfectly fitting.
Ahhh....that sounds like me. I'm absolutely a city girl.
Left!
Glad you had a good time in Denver. But as for city - just hop on over to Albuquerque if you crave excitement.
I'll go right anyway. The road less traveled?
Welcome home. My sister, Sharon loves the big cities too. I am much happier in the small town.
i am SO not a city girl - at heart or anyway. :) not anymore.
Lol. Good question! Glad you had a great time!
I do love my small town, but I think I'm also a city girl at heart. I miss the bustle and energy a lot. I hope Denver provided a nice city dose (and would love to see pics too, if any you're willing to share:)
I always feel more alive in a city too!
Nice !
I love big cities ! so many things to see and to do !
wish you a nice week
I guess you don't go right!
Not much on big cities- I prefer to head west out of Denver to the beautiful mountains, and a lot less people & traffic!
It seems that the only viable choice here is left. Go!
I travel to Denver three or four times a year for work and love the downtown area. It is easy to walk and the restaurants are fabulous.

I understand your yearning for the big city atmosphere, and it's good to get a taste of it now and then. Yet, there is no place quite like Santa Fe!
Towards the city for sure Randy..
The signs make sense to me as long as you factor in the part that a government was involved. :~)
