Day Trip II

I love old theaters and I could not resist running back to capture this one after I drove by it in Las Vegas, NM. I think they have so much more character than these big Cineplexes they are building now. Have a great Sunday everyone!

I so agree -- they don't make 'em like this anymore.

I agree about old theaters. We've got one downtown which is still going but it is a real struggle. I guess I should patronize it... :-)

You're absolutely right about theatres! I haven't been in Las Vegas for a few years, but don't remember seeing this. Guess I'd better be more observant. Have a GREAT week-end!

Every town or city still needs at least one.

Randy, your words and your photo speak the truth about this sort of theater vs the monster theater of today. Thanks!

I agree with you completely. When I am in cities that still have places like this in operation, I choose them over the huge impersonal cinemas if I have the chance.

Me too Randy, the newer cinemas may have bigger and better screens etc but definitely not the same ambience oui!
