Last week was the beginning of the Legislative session here in Santa Fe. Different groups will probably be visiting and protesting near the Roundhouse (capitol building). None will probably be a prominent as this Right to Life group. This was just a portion of what I caught on my walk. There was a sea of yellow balloons marching from the Roundhouse to the plaza and back again.

Serious party !
Making their voices heard!
nice yellow balloons! but i dislike their graphic signs. i was in chattanooga when my twins were little, about 3 and met up with a big group of twins. all our kids were about the same age and we were out walking around and there was one of these demonstrations taking place. we had to shuffle the kids out of the area quickly because the signs were just too much for little kids to see.
I think the spectator may have thought you were photographing him. I recall being in the Roundhouse a few years ago when the session began. What a lot of activity.
I like the idea of the yellow ballons, it's something to take attention for the manifestation!

I find the gentleman with the paper bag more photo interesting.
Nice balloons Randy but not too keen on extremists.
i like the sweet old gent you captured in the foreground. :)
Definitely wishing for that sunshine, Randy.
I always like yellow...
funny with all these yellow ballons !
Safety first!
Everyone seems to have an issue these days!
Can't say I'm much into demos, but yellow is a nice sunny colour. Especially when the sky is so blue!
Let freedom ring
An exquisite looking day, but this looks like a very charged scene. Hard to have good discussion when one voice tries to drown out others, sigh.
Some weird folks around there.
People seem pretty intent on what they're doing out there!
