I was walking downtown yesterday and saw this woman giving change to this homeless man. It reminded me of this qoute:
"Ask yourself: Have you been kind today? Make kindness your daily modus operandi and change your world."
Annie Lennox
I hope that your week starts off great.

Hi Randy, we sing a church hymn that goes like this: "Have I done any good in the world today, Have I helped anyone in need; Have I cheered up the sad or made someone feel glad, if not I have failed indeed."
Great picture!

I just asked a few people around me, and I was passed for the day!
One act of kindness can explode into many acts of kindness. Kudos to this woman and thank you for a fine picture and post! May you have a delightful week!
A few coins given, a friendly and kind word offered, I believe both parties were winners!
That is a beautiful quote. If only everyone in the world would do this, what a wonderful place we would live in.
very nice spotting. you never know how one tiny bit of kindness can change the world. :)
Very nice pattern of kindness!

A great sentiment to start the week off right! Nice capture.
It's a hard call. Sometimes you don't know if you will be helping them or hurting them...some just go buy alcohol instead of food. I wish I could just not worry about the outcome but I do know that everyone needs a helping hand occasionally.
Hear hear! Randy, it costs nothing to be kind!
It's so sad to see someone in this situation...
I don't like giving money, but I always carry a fruit or a cracker in my bag for them.
Nice. Annie Lennox rocks.
Good!
Doesn't it just warm your heart and crack your face wide open with a smile to see kindness?
A good post and a great sentiment Randy!
"Sweet dreams are made of this" (Annie Lennox). Love your composition.
Excellent words to remember. I love JM's comment above. I think there my be quite a few Annie Lennox fans among your followers.
Sometimes even a word of encouragement will do wonders...
Great post - and a great way to "change," even if it's just a little bit of change.
Lovely photo and sentiments expressed in it, Randy.
Good words to live by.
Glad that you recorded the event!
A touching photo, Kate.
I should do that a little more. Unfortunately, you kind of become immune to it in London.
