While walking downtown this weekend I saw the biggest Hello Kitty that I have ever seen anyone carry. Wishing you all a great start to your week.

Outdoor Vision Fest 2012

On Friday night I attended the Outdoor Vision Fest at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. There was some wonderful works of art that were mostly displayed on the walls of the university. There was one that just blew me away. I sat through it a few times. This was such a treat for the eyes. I took this shot downtown at one of the local bead shops. Enjoy your Sunday.

Trees

And I caught another surprise reflection. I was shooting the trees and I never even noticed the reflection until tonight. Have a happy Saturday everyone. Sorry I missed your posts on Friday, still working on that project. It will be all over on the 16th.

Someone did a Native number on this walk sign close to downtown. It's almost Friday, hold on for one more day.

I found these in the courtyard of the New Mexico Museum of Art. The chair we're more of surprise. I was after the trees shadow.

This is small courtyard near some shops in the downtown area. You can usually see someones husband sitting on the bench waiting for his Mrs.

I was walking downtown yesterday and saw this woman giving change to this homeless man. It reminded me of this qoute: "Ask yourself: Have you been kind today? Make kindness your daily modus operandi and change your world." Annie Lennox I hope that your week starts off great.

How It Feels Sometimes.

This was at the top of my walk on Canyon Road as I turned onto Alameda to walk along the river. Do you ever feel scrambled like this graffiti?

I should explain a little more in detail about the project I'm working on and my absence in the coming weeks. I am taking a Graphic Design class and our final is an 8 week long project that is stealing quite a bit of my time. Needless to say I might be a little hit and miss on your blogs but no worries, I am still here. Happy Wednesday!

Evening Light

This is one of my favorite homes on Canyon Road. I love walking by this home when the evening light hits it just right. There is a wonderful warmth about it.

Cruising

This week has been a little cooler than usual and yesterday it was so cool it snow lightly. It wasn't cold enough to keep these two from taking an afternoon cruise.

I caught this reflection on the glass door of Moss Outdoor. They have some wonderful outdoor furnishings. But if your not a fan of Modern furnishing you may not like this store. Have a great reflection everyone.

New Sculpture

This is a new sculpture at one of the galleries at entrance of Canyon Road. I could not find the title but I can tell you that it is a sculpture of a Native American Deer Dancer.

Sorry I could not visit yesterday and maybe even today. I've started working on my final project for my class and it's taking up more time than I had anticipated.

Peeking through the Fence.

This little tree found the strength to squeeze through a coyote fence. Nature is so amazing and wonderful.

This is one of my favorite walls in Santa Fe. In the Spring it looks even better with the colors on the trees.

Tulips, who doesn't like this colorful flower. The first ones in town can usually be found at a local gallery. I will have to keep my eye out for more. Happy Friday everyone.

Pink to White

Yesterdays snowfall didn't stay on the ground but it did on the trees. I shot this on my way to work in the morning. Today we will be back up in the 60's. The weather is wacky but it made for a nice shot.

A touch of pink can be seen all over town. Unfortunately this tree probably won't look the same this morning. It's been snow most of the evening and is still coming down as I post this.
