Path Less Traveled

The Winter storm that made national news left us with a little snow but not as much as predicted. I caught this while out on my walk. I was drawn to the shadows of the trees crossing the path.

Lovely photo with both light and shadow. I'm surprised that you didn't get more snow. I guess Kansas must have gotten most of it.

A lot of nice lines in this photo. The blue light is really nice too.

The least travel paths are the best ones for souvenirs and pictures.
Nice.

Regarding snow: been there, done that. This is very beautiful scene, though. But, I'm going to play golf tomorrow morning and it's going to go to 82 degrees and that makes me happy! :-)

Glad you didn't get a big blizzardy blast. Our daughter in SW Colorado just missed most of the storm.

Snow must be nice... I live in the tropics, it only rains here in torrents. Wishing you all the joys of this season, have a blessed Christmas.

Wow, my dog would love to gallop along that road.

The moment I read the headlines about the storm I thought of you and Santa Fe being buried under many feet of snow. I'm glad this worked out and you had sun to photograph in.

Best wishes !

I was getting calls from my family saying " I hear you're having a blizzard!" I think at that point the sun was shining. :) Well, I am sure they were having a blizzard somewhere! It was nice to have a bit of snow, though.

I am also fond of shadows like these, Randy. Thank goodness y'all weren't overcome with snow like other areas were.
