During my brief but very cold walk along Canyon Road I caught this on the side of a gallery. The sun has been out for several days now and alot of our snow is already gone but I still have some shots to share with you. Happy Saturday.
Those tree branches look a little creepy, would make a great shot in a scary movie. That surely can't be all the snow you're expecting this year surely Randy. Much more to come?
Okay, you're going to laugh at me. But the way the shadows of the tree limbs look all bristly, reminds me of old woolen long johns. It must really be cold out! :) Happy Saturday!
You never cease to astound me with your pictures. Not just because there is snow in the south whereas we have no snow right now - but also because of your interesting compositions.
you know, I'm a fan of your photos, but I do have my faves. THIS one has gone to the top of my list. It's superb! Lucky you for having at least some days of snow. I'm still awaiting our first snowfall... happy weekend Randy.
Very pretty :) Love the cool tones. Lynette sent me to your blog because I posted a similar photo today. It doesn't snow where I live though. I enjoyed seeing your wintery perspective.

Great shot Randy!
Pretty.
But unfair. My geraniums and snapdragons are blooming on the windowsills. That is NOT normal!
I like this one. A good photographer always has eyes open for something unusual.

I like that kind of powder-rose on the wall. The shadow makes a nice design. Have a great weekend, Randy!
I think I can see a tiny village popping up on the snow cover. Perhaps it's one of those Christmas caroler scenes!
Y la nieve lo inunda todo...
Saludos y feliz fin de semana.
Looks like Maine... and we are still green. Strange!
Shadows and sunshine...that should make the cold more endurable. Great shot...love it!
Great shot, lovely shadow.
I hope you have a warm weekend Randy! ;-)
That's nice. Those shadows are a bit spooky. This would make a good cover for a mystery novel set in Santa Fe. Maybe you should write it?
Re your letter to Santa: Didn't your mother ever tell you "It's the RED box, NOT the blue box"?
Sheesh!

Nice shade,I like that.. but you can see a big spider shadow on you imagine a horror film if you want=0)..Have a nice day.
Great shadows! I love shadows this time of year.
Still hard to belief...the snow i mean :)
Pretty!
i like it a lot! :) but brrr...
Long shadows on these cold winter mornings...shadows on adobe the BEST!
Nice play of light and shadows. The thorns on the branches of the tree, casts a Pointed Shadow!
Is that tree made of barbed wire? Neat perspective.
Nice picture! Congratz!

How very cool! Great shot.
Super capture Randy!
Nice shadow.
Great shadow! Sorta spooky.

I dunno, Randy. Might be a ghost. :-)

I agree with Teresa, shadows on adobe are just so nice.

It is a nice winter composition, Randy.
Looks like great walking and photographing weather, Randy.
Christmas lights in the shadow?? See, you were out shooting!! :-)
