The Winter storm that made national news left us with a little snow but not as much as predicted. I caught this while out on my walk. I was drawn to the shadows of the trees crossing the path.
Regarding snow: been there, done that. This is very beautiful scene, though. But, I'm going to play golf tomorrow morning and it's going to go to 82 degrees and that makes me happy! :-)
Glad you didn't get a big blizzardy blast. Our daughter in SW Colorado just missed most of the storm.
The moment I read the headlines about the storm I thought of you and Santa Fe being buried under many feet of snow. I'm glad this worked out and you had sun to photograph in.
I was getting calls from my family saying " I hear you're having a blizzard!" I think at that point the sun was shining. :) Well, I am sure they were having a blizzard somewhere! It was nice to have a bit of snow, though.

The newspaper in Phoenix showed a photo of the snow in Santa Fe, but I like you photo much better.
Not much traveled indeed...
Lovely photo with both light and shadow. I'm surprised that you didn't get more snow. I guess Kansas must have gotten most of it.
A lot of nice lines in this photo. The blue light is really nice too.
Are you planning for a white Christmas?
I love walking on fresh snow and the crunchy sound it makes. Beautiful scene.
Oh my! You have more snow than we do here in Canada! :))

Snow must be nice... I live in the tropics, it only rains here in torrents. Wishing you all the joys of this season, have a blessed Christmas.
Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go...
Great play of light and shadows.
Yes this looks peaceful indeed. I enjoy hearing the sounds of the crunching snow when people walk on it. =)

Wonderful although I am still not looking forward to snow here!
Randy, could you please send us some snow and a bit of colder weather? :-)This photo has a dreamlike quality to it!
I like how the shadows look kinda blue on the snow.
I love that you walk in all seasons. So much to share : )
Looks like home here in Norway :)
Wow, my dog would love to gallop along that road.

You do love your shadows. I'm glad things weren't as bad as they predicted. It is beautiful to look at.
From what I was reading, I expected much more snow. Still, it is pretty.
I love the sound of snow crunching underfoot!
I am also fond of shadows like these, Randy. Thank goodness y'all weren't overcome with snow like other areas were.
Well seen and discovery ... beautiful shadows !
