While running around downtown yesterday evening trying to finish my Christmas shopping I found myself taking more photos than shopping. Otra Vez is a resort that offers vacation ownership. The location is only a short walk from the plaza.
I think that I need to walk to more places OUTSIDE the Plaza since I've missed so many of the spots you have posted recently. 7 more days and I haven't even packed, but I have all gifts wrapped under a tiny table top tree (allows me to exit quickly for our trip) and also have the Christmas dinner menu planned: a Greek meal this year with boneless leg of lamb planned. Can't wait and then hustle to drive away the day after Christmas!! See you soon!! Anxious to visit Todd's school...I need an educational setting "fix."
So you went to Albuquerque to do your Christmas shopping but had to come back home to finish it? Sounds like somebody else I know. I did the same thing last week. Went 80 miles to finish it up and only bought one thing!
Looks like a nice place! You know you've become a true photo blogger when you actually look for excuses to go shopping or elsewhere just so's you can take some photos! :-)
I love the holiday lights! Well, today is a day I am wishing I had AWD. I'd love to be out hiking, but the snow is coming down pretty good & I don't really trust my chains on the windy mtn road! It's beautiful out, though!
Looks like a great place for a vacation and a welcoming Christmas. I would have a hard time shopping too- especially with all these neat places to take photos of. Have a nice day Randy! =)
I having been craving the opportunity to walk around and shoot pics rather than just catch a shot in a hit and miss fashion. The holiday madness will soon end but it is lovely to see such pretty lights!

i love seeing everything lit up!
Looks like a nice warm welcome at the resort Randy.
Lots of lights. I noticed that the time-share community on Scottsdale Road also had lots of lights in front of it.
Randy, everything goes so well against adobe. The bare tree and red lights are set so nicely with the adobe in the background.

I love seeing lights in trees, houses, bushes, and on people. Seems like you are in the spirit of the season.
Wonderful lights!
Taking photos is much better to do the shopping.
Wonderful contrast to the blue sky.
