Just a few of the shops on Marcy street all decked out for Christmas. Do you have a favorite ornament that you put up every year? I have too many to list.
Festive trees and festive everything else! I like the way Santa Fe has a "small-town" feel to it...everything here is so spread out. Well, we have our old downtown but that's only a few blocks and we don't get there very often.
Love it when things go all festive. I DO buy more then:)
My favorite decoration would have to be the cardboard star wrapped in tinfoil we put on the top of our tree every year. We made it when we didn't have money for a tree topper.
Like you, we have to many to list. My wife hand painted the majority of the bulbs years ago. There is also several that were made by her Grandma who created Christmas scenes with tiny figures inside the cut out openings of goose eggs. The decorated tree always amazes our friends and family.
I like the ones that remind me of when the kids were little. I have one of a mouse making a snowmouse and he uses nickels for the ears. Love that Kathy is window shopping!
Yes I do have favorites Randy, like yourself no doubt I've added new special ones along the way, now quite a big collection. I really love the painted wooden decs!!
All our 'Christmasy' ornaments are from the 40's and 50's which were my grandmother's. The rest of the ornaments are non-christmas style and are ones I bought each year one at a time for my wife representing a significant event of the past year. I would put it on the tree and see how long it took her to notice. Usually not very long. Then there are some I hand made for her. Now the tree is so loaded that there is no more room and I don't have to come up with an ornament for the year anymore. Whew!
That looks like a cozy place. Gosh I'm really not sure what my favorite one is...but if you saw my Christmas tree- you wouldn't think they were really ornaments at all. ;)
We have a great many favorite ornaments. By now, we have collected ornaments for about 40 years, from all sorts of different places. As they go on the tree, they bring back happy memories.

I have a huge collection of ornaments but, I'm especially fond of "Santa Claus" ornaments. I usually pick up one or two news every year.

Looks like the snow is almost gone. It helps if it dots the branches yet these are festive indeed even without the snow!
I love every Christmas ornaments, but the most important ornament is a statue of Jesus Christ under the Christmas tree.
