The snow finally came to Santa Fe but not as much as the forecasters warned us about. It was enough to get me in the holiday spirit. By days end the snow started to fall again so we'll see what the new day has to bring. Have a peaceful Sunday everyone.

Wow! It's even sooner than in my town, Randy! It makes a nice contrast too.
I like those snowy footprints leading away... how much snow do you usually get each winter??
Love snowy shots!
Have a good Sunday Randy! ;-)
With the snow gets a little brighter evenings.
I can understand your feelings. A little snow is nice. I think. It's been along time since we've lived in snow country. Not sure I'd want to do that again. Wouldn't mind visiting, though. Esp. over the holidays!
Have a great week!
I looked at Doppler radar yesterday and almost all of New Mexico was socked in in the a.m. but cleared of snow later in the day. I thought about you when I saw the big blue blob (indicating snow) over Northern NM.
Ya se empieza a ver la nieve. Estupendas como siempre las fotos que nos dejas.
Saludos y feliz domingo.
Last night we, too, got our first picture-postcard snow fall. Flakes were light, fluffy and glistening in the light. Made me feel as you do ... in the holiday spirit, esp. when we emerged from our college campus chapel after a delightful holiday concert. Now I need to quickly get dressed to emerge outside for a bracing walk and photo shoot before our family arrives for a brunch. Then off to see The Nutcracker this afternoon for grand-daughter Olivia's and Jim's birthday celebration. Falling snow is fun...at first!!!
Right into the season Randy!
What's wrong with that picture? Until yesterday, you had as much snow as we did up here in Eagan, MinneSNOWta!
Some snow is definitely 'holiday spirit' moving. I hope it ends here 1/1/12. hahaha NOT!
Oh how I would love to look out my window and see some snow right now, 36C is way to hot for the first day of summer! Nice shot Randy, like the footsteps.
guess it's gonna come whether you're ready or not! that shoveled path looks nice!
I'd almost trade these high winds for your snow. I said "almost". Enjoy your Sunday.
I am looking forward to your winter, Randy!
Always nice to see a little snow around the holiday season!
Just enough to call it winter : )
We still have 18°C today...
Aha...it did arrive your way. It is frightfully cold here right now. But, I am a bit of a whip when it gets cold.
We are covered in the white stuff too and this morning we have what they call 'freezing fog'. These first snow falls are very pretty to look at and I don't mind at all until mid January. Then I will be ready for spring.
Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!
love it
and it makes me think of NORTHERN EXPOSURE!!
Hi Randy, I had to come on over to see if you posted SNOW! A little less than predicted, but gosh, isn't it gorgeous! I am off or a snowy hike! Have a great sunday & good luck on your final!
I think I've never been to Santa Fe at another time than winter, and I only know it in the snow. This brought back wonderful memories! Thank you.
I never dreamt that you got snow this early in Santa Fe this early.!?! We don't usually have it yet in Toronto.
KC has not had any snow yet. Our weather has just recently turned cold. Snow does have the tendency to bring on holiday spirits.
Oh, that looks cold.
Still pretty warm here in Germany.
It looks nice at least. And I guess it's safe as long as the path is cleared. :)
Don't know if I'm ready for the snow or not? But I sure enjoy seeing your snow in Santa Fe! Puts me in the Spirit of Christmas also!
Already!
Looks always nice!
have a great new week Randy :)
oh you got snow! we had lots and lots of rain over the weekend but further north of us it fell as snow. with cooler temps this week I expect our next storm will bring some flakes and I'll be happy. I like your clear path - it's just enough to feel festive. happy week to you Randy.
Oh ! wow, I wish I could touch it ... must be great feelings for you ! I am happy for you !
Lucky you! I've just come back from a successful shopping spree to the Christmas market in Stuttgart, Germany. Somehow it isn't the same in mild and rainy weather!
Wow snow! You will have a white christmas in your region.
I love the deep red brick with the white snow. So Ben Franklin!
hasn't snowed here in the pacific northwest but i know it's coming soon
Happy, happy, snow!!
