Sky Reflection

I love a surprise don't you? At first sight I wasn't too thrilled with this shot until I saw the reflection of the sky and trees in the sculpture. This was taken during the Canyon Road Paint Out. So happy that I have a three day weekend starting today. I hope you all have a great Friday!

A lie-in this morning was VERY much appreciated here but the blue sky the weatherman forecasted for this holiday is probably somewhere else, lol! The sculpture is quite striking in itself and the reflection makes it even better!

Sky color matching this lady's jacket which adds a lot to the picture.

That is absolutely wonderful, Randy. Serendipity makes the best photos. I've something similar on our Images blog today.

Hope you're enjoying a day off!

Re your comment about fried food: You mean I can't eat fried food anymore? What a bummer. I thought about that and decided I'd quit in a couple of years. :-)

I saw it jump out right a way.

I'm sure the reflections are a part of the artists vision of the sculpture. You captured it nicely!

all of your pics want to make me go back to Santa Fe, I take comfort in the fact that I'm in a reasonable driving distance ;)

You always seem to be in the right place at the right time for your captures! cool pic!
