High Stepping Reflection

I was out and about shopping when I caught sight of this reflection in the mirror.

Speaking of shopping it's that time of year for the Clay Fair. My favorite tile artist Kathleen Koltes will be there. You might remember the last ones I bought. Who knows what I might will come home with.

Thanks for the link, Randy, to refresh our memories. After I googled KK's name, I discovered that she lives in Eldorado and that there is a clay tour there in May of 2012. While staying there, I think I'll give her a call! I have several ceramic masks from Mexico, and I might add one of hers to my collection. Would love to see yours.

The boots are great, but none as special as my red ones!!

I don't see the reflection but I sure like the boots. My mother ran into someone yesterday who remembered me from preschool days when I was wearing cowboy boots and jeans - not normal attire for little girls in the 1940s. I've always loved boots!

Great shades of brown and composition.

Nice line up of western boots you caught in a reflection. I was raised wearing boots and still have a couple of pairs that I wear. But it seems like my footware has changed more to the tennis shoes these days.

I love these boots. I have a pair I love, but when does a guy in Connecticut get the excuse to wear cowboy boots?

Terrific reflection shot. I'd probably be able to find a pair without any problem at all!

Looks like those boots were made for walking. Don't buy too much for yourself, now. You know Christmas is coming up!

If the boot fits, buy one in every color!

When I was in Kansas I had to work hard to resist the temptation to buy cowboy boots! Someday... :)

A very cool reflection!

Cool shots the last 2 days - love the leaves and the cowboy boots are a bit of an oddity for us here! Looking forward to seeing your clay purchase.

Did you pick yourself out a pair? Glad you pointed out that the Clay Fair really was about "clay". I love the ones you bought.
One time when I was in Santa Fe years ago, I saw a poster of a naked lady sitting in a chair. The poster said "When you are poor, you buy clothes or you buy art". You don't know how many times over the years I wished I had purchased it.
