In the Sky

Here is another artist from the Canyon Road Paint Out taking a break from her painting. I wonder what she put into the sky when the painting was finished.

en effet quel beau ciel sur sa peinture, pas loin d'un monochrome de Klein

You should include people in more of your photos. I really like this one.

Brilliant. Here, where I live whe dont see paintings on the street. There it looks like... less sad than here. Have a nice Tuesday.

I imagine lots of tall clouds...

She looks a bit like the actress, Diane Keaton. If that were Keaton, who always plays a kind of ditz, I'd guess she'd paint more clouds where she could put her head. Heh, heh!

I thought the same thing Lowell said. If the paint was mine I call it "finished". I can't paint.

Enjoy seeing the artist with their work. Quite a large canvas she is using. Makes the sky really stand out.

I'm sure whatever it was that she did it very well.

Love that sunflower yesterday!

There are so many gifted artists in SF but I wonder how they survive financially?

Love your photos of artists-in-process.

Minimalism. I like it the way it is! :-)

You didn't go back to see the finished piece?

I like the informal atmosphere of all this. This is hard to find here, where anyone that can handle a brush thinks to be the next Picasso...

This had to be so much fun! I love to see artists at work.

Randy I need to ask you a question: how can you still have any money in your bank account at all when you spend most of your spare time looking at beautiful art that happens to be for sale???

:-)

I`m a little jealous...I have a feeling that you have good weather every day. So it seems from your photos :)

I always wished I could paint. It seems so soothing.

I can't imagine what she is going to do to complete that sky. Randy, I expected you to wait this one out for the finished product.

Nice! I hope it's a rainbow!

She looks like Diane Keaton. Maybe that is why she gets away with a big empty canvass.

Did you ever find out?

Leaving that big blue sky cloudless and birdless was a brave move.

Heaven brought down to earth.

By the look at her display, it seems that you would probably have seen clouds...
