I love this display. The ground earth under some of the pottery is what they use to make these wonderful clay creations. This is the work of Camilla, Dominique and Maxine Toya from the Jemez Pueblo. Jemez is west of Santa Fe on the other side of the Jemez mountains. They have a great Pow Wow on Memorial Day weekend.

To live with Earth!
Thank you Randy :)
Wonderful display.
Santa Fe and surrounding must be so attractive, I really have to go there one day.
you're right - the earth is a perfect part of the display.
une belle collection de poterie
Love one of these for my home. You are correct, so earthy.
i'd love to have a few of those pieces!
I would't mind having one of these little numbers! I love the swirled effect on the pottery and haven't seen this before.
I am sure these would fly off the shelves (or the carpet) here!
I like the natural look pottery. These are nice pieces!
Great goods! They are interesting.
I love pottery, yes I do, I love pottery, how about you?
Will you be meeting Kate of St. Paul CDP for coffee while she's in Santa Fe?
Excellent Randy!
Grand display of pottery art work !
As simple as amazing! Great shot! I really miss San Diego..
This is my weakness. I love this gorgeous pottery. Such beautiful pieces.
Beautiful work, were you able to resist taking one home Randy!!
Lovely pottery!
Gorgeous, gorgeous pots! I clicked twice to enlarge for detail. I really like the dragonfly handles.
Oh, I am taking 2 classes- wheel throwing & micaceous again. The micaceous is only 8 weeks though, so I may end up taking a class @ SF clay in the fall. It's hard to balance school & making a living.... you know how that goes. You still have not told us what degree you are pursuing, but I am guessing it is something in computer arts?
It's a beautiful collection Randy. Skilled ladies!
These are nice, but my eye is usually drawn to more actively embellished pots, in particular the black and white geometric ones.
I love the "spirals" on this pottery.
I wasn't familiar with this pottery - quite nice but I really like the Acoma pots from a couple of days ago!
More beautiful work. Do you buy and ship for people?;))
What a great idea to place the pieces on mirrows. Very clever! I'm enjoying the market series very much.
I see I can pay with a Visa... ;-) These are absolutely gorgeous, I like how they are displayed on mirrors and ground earth. That vase with the faces... hmmmmm....
interessante, bonita cultura
They really are beautiful. I love the shapes of the people and their faces.
PS: The worms crawl in...the movie was (I think) "Picture Mommy Dead" with Zsa Zsa Gabor. I found lots of versions of the old song. Oh, memories. :)
Oh I love the Indian Women. I collect Indian Women sculptures.
This is different, with the swirls. Very creative of them. Thanks for showing.
