Fascinating type of art, thanks for sharing them !
They all have such gentle faces Randy, I definitely think you should have one!
You're right Randy- her saints have very soulful eyes.
I like her work... and her hair!
The eyes are really beautiful. So expressive.
Those are fantastic! I love the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha one.
The eyes are rather unique aren't they? Quite sad!
Yes, these are nice. It seems as though there is just a touch of sadness behind the eyes.
These are beautiful!
While not my thing, I've got to admire the creativity and skill of the artist!Have a great weekend thyself!
She does have a unique style that is quite appealing.

Thank you for sharing. A lot of impressions! I really love colors in your photos or how you capture them.
What a great market this is!
I enlarged it and you are right about the eyes. They have such expression!
I'm glad you have photos from The Spanish Market and I hope there will be from the Native American Market too!I am back from my vacation and I have a lot to catch on your blogs.
These I think are my favourites until now! Love the colours and naïve art.Happy weekend Randy!

I think these are the cutest retablos I've seen.
I followed your link and was surprised at how young the artist is. I often associate retablos with male painters; I wonder if that is accurate or just a misconception of mine?
These are very sad, dreamy eyes.
There is no time like the present, Randy. She will still have some for sale tomorrow.
I agree...these depictions are beautiful, Randy.
I like that with Jean D'Arc!
