You captured it well. I found that taking photos at Spanish Market was very difficult because of the crowds and the myriad objects surrounding anything one might want to photograph.
Never seen anything like that before. As for the camera on my blog post yesterday, I got it for my wife on her birthday off of eBay. Sorry for having to answer you question here but was unable to reply through e-mailed comment as your settings are set for "no reply".
I love this. Wish i'd have been able to go to the market. Hope to go to Indian Market~ though I am quite certain I have to work the whole weekend, perhaps I can get there early before I go in.

une belle creation toute en couleurs
It's beautiful and your picture is great. I like the colors and the flowers in her dress.

There is amazing detail on that wooden sculpture and your photo detailed in perfectly.
I would certainly be one of the photographers trying to capture this beauty!
I can see why. It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Nice photograph revealing the colorful costume.
She's pretty!
It seems another version or Virgin Maria, the saint that protects thousands of latin american countries.

Beautiful designs on her skirt.
I can see why that one was popular with photographers.
I love bulto and retablo artwork.
I would too if I were there !
She sure is beautiful! I wouldn't mind having one for my very own!
Happy Tuesday, Dandy Randy!
I like it, but I'm not sure what those words mean that describe this kind of art. You certainly were able to get a nice picture!
You learn something everyday in the blog world, I had no idea what a Bulto was Randy, excellent wooden sculpture.
Very pretty! Lovely shot Randy. Thank you for sharing it.
Quite cool. Looks big.
She's beautiful. It can be so challenging getting shots with so many people milling about.
It was very interesting to learn about Bultos, and this piece is beautiful! ;-)
Wow! your city always has lots going on! Maybe ours does too? I just need to get out more! Great capture Randy!

It's a beautify!
I'm not at all surprised that many photographers wanted to take a shot of this. :)
And quite rightly so. Thank you for queuing up to take a photo for us!
I love it! Would buy it in a minute but I bet it is $$.
