This is the singer and the drummer that accompanied the dancers. While I was focused on them I was taken by the bracelet on the singers wrist. That is one amazing piece of turquoise that they found to make this piece. Click on the photo for a larger peek.

Cool stuff! Great people!
You're right. That is a huge chunk of turquoise. What a bold piece of jewelry.
il y a beaucoup de monde a cette manifestation et des photographes ;)
That is some wrist jewellery there Randy, the whole event is very colourful!
Yes, the bracelet is amazing, but the all picture is beautiful...very sharp.
Loved it.
Indeed that is an amazing piece of turquoise in that bracelet. I can hear the drum beats and tones from this group.
You are right, it is huge... Excellebt portrait!
In addition to the big chunk of silver in the setting, I'd say he was wearing my retirement on his wrist!
Must have been a lot of fun!
Their clothes are so colorful, aren't they? Good focus!
Just about everything at Indian Market is colorful! Yes, his bracelet is remarkable, just as so much of the Indians' jewelry is!! You got a great shot of him despite the crowds which made taking photos very difficult.
That's a hunk of stone!
That's a huge bracelet! ;-)
I love the blue in his outfit Randy and that bracelet is something else. It's like something Liz Taylor would have worn!
Great shot Randy!
w.o.w.! and i love his face...
Wow huge bracelet! Must weigh a fair bit too!
That bracelet is huge!! Amazing.
I would now have noticed had you not pointed it out. Someone could get hurt with that hunk of rock.
That is amazing! I wonder how heavy it is?
Really astonishing!
I've seen a lot of turquoise, including what seemed like huge belt buckles, but I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this. It is to die for. Wonderful shot.
Wonderful shot of this performer and like you, I am amazed at the size of that turquoise!

The turquoise is HUGE!
He must have strong forearms! Love the patterning on the drum.
That bracelet IS amazing! I'm glad you're there taking photos, so those of us not in Santa Fe can enjoy glimpses of this event.
Wonderfully colourful. Perhaps he subscribes to the 'when I grow old I shall wear purple..' philosophy.
all of the indian market photos are amazing, i really mean that.

Oh my gosh! I have never, ever seen anything like that!
What an amazing series of photos, amazing bracelet, stunning cape. But most of all, I love that the older gentlemen is out and about and sharing his folklore.
I don't think I have ever seen a slab of turquoise that big. Amazing.
That is one big stone for sure! Wow. Great to see these shots of the market.
Gosh, so you have a problem w/ noisy neighbors, too. How do you deal w/ it? Without peace & quiet, I am not the happiest camper!
Hope school is off to a good start for you. Tomorrow I get to get on the wheel for the first time in over a year!
My goodness! That's huge!
