This is the Taos home of American Frontiersman Kit Carson. To find out more about the home and museum click here. To read more about Christopher "Kit" Carson click here.
When I stayed in Taos with friends during the summer and spring break there used to be a delightful bookstore across the street. I wonder if it's still there?
Unfortunately for me the name Kit Carson brings back childhood memories of the old TV show with Andy Devine playing the part of Jingles and that is all that I remember of Kit Carson.

I love those colors, we just don't use them here.
Very interesting- thanks for sharing!
There's that familiar blue/tan combination I love so much! :)

The name Kit Carson takes me back to the sixth grade when I couldn't find enough books to read about the Old West. Great memories.
cool looking place.
Kit Carson chose a beautiful place to build his home.

I think Ol' Kit might have a hard time recognizing the streets of Taos these days!
