Yesterday was the big Canyon Road Paint Out. It is one of my favorite days of the year. Artists are outside of the galleries plein air painting and there is music provided by the kids of the Santa Fe School District at every stop. I caught this shot outside of a gallery. The title came to me as soon as I saw the flowers shadow. This week I will be bringing you photos from the event so stayed tuned.

I swear I saw the shadow moving slightly independent from the flower! :o
God bless you!

Love your Canyon Road shots...
Thanks Randy ... Beautiful Gift to start the day :))
Good Sunday!
Sounds like a perfect day! Love this simple image Randy!
You and your shadow are so pretty! Happy Sunday with your shadow!
Great shadow shot, Randy. I'll look forward to more pics of this event!
Wonderful image.
Can't wait to see the other photos. Very tricky photo; at first I did not see the shadow. Have to sharpen my skills to keep up with you, Randy!
How fun, can't wait to see your photos. Someone should paint this shot.
I really like that, I got some similar to that with chickens a few years ago. The shadow almost seems to take on dimension.
Deepening shadows play a big role this time of year.
This photo could stand on its own if it were just the shadow alone. Very nice.
love that! :)
A very delicate and pretty image Randy, looking forward to more!
Good eye Randy, nice photo!
I like your pictures along Canyon Road...

A great capture with the shadows!
Twice as pretty!
It is a good one.
LOVE Cosmos, they are hardy but rather dainty looking...
Both delicate and strong-looking shadows - love it!
One can even more look at the fine details.
So cool, and happy!
Nice composition!
