Over 100 artist participated in the 6th Annual Canyon Road Paint Out. There were painters, sculptors and even jewelry artist. There was plenty to see, hear and eat. Have a great start to your week.
That looks like a fun show. I used to paint like that at shows. Never sold the one I was working on but it seemed to bring people over to look at the finished ones which helps. I figured once that it takes thousands of people walking by to sell one painting.
What a great event! And food, too! At first I wondered if this guy had three ballerinas out in front of him somewhere but then I saw he's working from a photo. Lots of creativity!
You make me want to dig out my watercolors... I haven't painted a lick since I started driving school bus (retired a couple weeks ago) I don't do art well when tired, and I was always tired...

I meant to tell you I went to an art festival here in Central KY last weekend. It was outdoors inn a rural area and it was fascinating.
Days of plein art certainly is interesting and full of photo ops. Couldn't help but notice the woman in the background with the bold print jacket.
Oh, look at that! I really appreciate this post, Randy. Thanks!
Have a great start into the new week too!

Wonderful shot Randy! I love to watch people paint.
This had to be a very fun event, especially for a photographer.
Like Lowell, I wondered why the subject matter as it seemed so out of place for the scene. Then saw the photo below.
The best part of spending a day with artists: being able to photogaphy them while they are creating.
wow! fabulous!
Looks like an interesting place to be with a camera.
So many wonderful outdoor events in Santa Fe!
That looks and sounds like a lot of fun. Abundant sunshine made the day even better I would think!
