The work on La Fonda is still going on. I am sure they probably wish it was done in time for tourist season, too late for that. Maybe it will be done before Spanish Market next month.
Isn't it interesting that some buildings can go up very quickly and others take forever? I suppose this is a complicated project, though, and that may be the problem. I'll bet it will look grand when completed!

Looks like there is some work to do.
la ville est toujours dans un éternel renouvellement. Avec la chaleur cela ne doit pas etre facile a faire tous ces travaux
looks like they still have quite a bit to do!
But new construction is good for the economy. :)

Must be a challenge for the builders making sure the new construction stays true to the old style look!
They are sprucing it up for the season!
Acho curioso a arquitetura do lugar.
Interesting how they work on buildings.
i would imagine repairing stucco could be a lot of work!
On the same line as what parker commented, I wonder if the construction workers ever get bored doing the same style of building over and over again.
Great blog you have Randy. I'll be following ;-)

Why is it that building projects never seem to run on time? Something to look forward to Randy.
Looks like it wont be long now.
It's good that it has that great Santa Fe Look to it, Randy!
They may still be a ways from finishing, but hopefully it'll look great when it does!
Good for the survival of the building!
I would love to watch that kind of construction.
There is a lot of work going on at this fine hotel. There is probably no good time to do major work on a Santa Fe hotel.
That does look like a lot of work!
Despite not opening, interesting sight !
It must be interesting to watch the progress tho. My fantasy is to be able to secure a small apartment there!
