White on White

Friday evening I decide to stroll Canyon Road and attend a few gallery openings.
The clouds in the sky were amazing and so were the Hollyhocks.

Love the way hollyhocks brighten up a landscape.

I love hollyhocks and believe it or not, I've seen a few growing around here. They are so pretty.

A great, old-fashioned flower.

I think hollyhocks are a wonderful flower that seems to grow just about anywhere....except my yard.

The flowers look in great shape!

These are lovely ones! They always remind me of my grandmother who always grew them and bleeding hearts.

Hollyhocks do really well in most places in Arizona. I know in Flagstaff and Jerome they are very prolific. I'm going to try some when I return to Phoenix. Almost anything will grown there if you give it enough water.

For a moment, I confused one of those clouds with the white bloom.
