The Rio Grande

We have been getting our fair share of rain the last few weeks and it shows in the vegetation.
While driving up to Taos I could not believe how green it was. Not normal for this time of year but we are happy for it.

I'm familiar with the drive up to Taos.
And things definitely look greener.
Rain is a precious gift, I believe . . .
but weather patterns seem to be shifting!
Hopefully that's good for Northern New Mexico.

Our rivers here are all still swollen with all the rain from May and June. I think it must be a reminder of how grand our rivers once were.

Looks like a magnificent river. So the name is appropriate.

We need rain! It had been very dry here and then it started raining. In the afternoons mostly. But, like your area, everything is so nice and green!

Glad to hear you are getting rain. So many places in the West are super dry!

I know there's a song, but it just won't come to mind. Google?

The rain is lighting up the countryside with bright green! We haven't gotten any yet. Clouds keep rolling in and out but nothing happens.

Quite a river. There are parts of the West that need that rain too.

We too have had a lot more rain than normal but it has been dry for the last few days. It's nice to see all the green around, Randy!

I love that country.

Good for you. Everything is parched here which is unusual. I loved that drive along the river!

It looks great. The green is indeed unusual in July.
