Spanish Market VII: Retablos

These wonderful Retablos are the work of Amanda Greigo from the Albuquerque area. I featured her last year and I wanted to focus on her work again. I love the colors that she uses in her work. The faces of her saints have a wonderful innocence about them. My favorite is the Guadalupe on the right. That is one piece I really wished I could have bought. Happy Sunday everyone.

Maybe someday she'll paint a picture. I'm a 'saint' in my own mind. Does that count?

For as many of these that you said "I wish I could have bought" I'd think by now you would have to add on a room to your home. I lost count. (;^))

Bright and sunny colours, just perfect for my dreary and rainy Sunday!

I can see why you love the colours Randy, the blues and yellows go so well together.

So many different shades of blue and cyan seem to dominate. Very dramatic.
