A size that one sometimes can afford compare to the larger ones which are often beyond reach...
Weaving is an art and requires so many skills, all of which I admire since I don't seem to have any of those myself. The colors are spectacular.
I love the combination of red and blue, really beautiful!I wish you a wonderful weekend, hugsLéia
Don't think there's anything more beautiful than a Navajo rug! Those warm colors...yummm!
gosh, i can't even imagine how time consuming this would be to make a big rug! very nice!
These are some of my favorite things in this market!
Of all the festivals and events in Santa Fe, I'm sure this one would be my favorite.
beautiful art.
I've seen the time consuming weaving done here in Kuantan so yeah, I can appreciate the work that goes on to it.
I love to watch weavers in action. Such beautiful work.
Wow! Those are beautifully and skillfully done!
Weaving is wonderful! I was unable to resist some rugs I found on my travels. :-)
I must admit I have a bit of a 'thing' for rugs Randy, these are beautiful.
Souvenir para el recuerdo...Saludos y un abrazo.
Weaving is so labour intensive! Fabulous pieces!
I was about to say what Thérèse already said...
The designs are lovely. Having done some weaving myself, I know it was a LOT of work. :))
Wonderful designs on the tightly woven rugs!
I admire the talent it takes to make these. I have a friend with a full size loom and it is a time consuming process.
These really are priceless. I love that you know who the artist is and not just buying this stuff from a trading post.
Thumbs Up!
An amazing display of artistry.
Definitely beautiful!
I remember Navajo rugs being sold along the highway in northern Arizona years ago. But we never stopped. Darn! They are beautiful.
I don't know how you don't go broke out there. :-)
I like the red & dark blue one.
Weaving is such an art. Begay is a big name in several forms of Native American art here in Arizona.
