If there is an event with a large crowd you can bet that you will find someone wearing an outfit that will make them stand out in the crowd. She happened to walk right by me.
What do you think, Oriental or what?
I agree with Wong! The umbrella gives the Japanese touch but the rest? I came some month ago from Japan but I haven't seen such a dress there...It's more pretending to be oriental, more to stand out..I wouldn't wear it but...de gustibus non disputandum (we do not speak about one's taste)

en effet , moi ca me fait penser a une japonaise
First thought, Oriental ! I suppose she is also doing some good services cleaning the street !
Looks like a Japanese "dress," but I'm really not up-to-date on such things. Nice to see that you've got her back. :)
Interesting get-up. I won't make any guesses. ;)
I would probably step on it by mistake...
Different...I guess it's not so comfy for these hot summer days! :)
Great shot!

Yes the costume does have an oriental flair. Looking at her shadow it seems she might be carrying a large lollipop or a mirror?
Wow! Very interesting Randy.
Seems Oriental. Definitely eye-catching!
I really can't figure this one out. Strange is the descriptive word that pops in my head.
Yes I guess so, yet I see this sort of clothing every day as usual.
Not sure - but I am thinking hot. Good thing for the umbrella!
the poof in the back is interesting, to say the least. :)
Strange, I don't think I have seen an outfit like that one. I wouldn't like the bit dragging on the ground.
She does look a little oriental Randy, the parasol is a bit of a giveaway, I seem to remember oriental ladies using them to protect against the sun.
Oh, this definitely leaves me wanting more...you know like hungry in half an hour...must be Chinese. :)
I'm guessing it was a hot outfit also.
Eccentric anyway!
Hmmmm I'm not sure that's a geisha... :-)

Wong's comment cracked me up!
I am with Red Pat.
Cool series Randy!
Umm, Oriental with a touch of bag lady? Lol.
A little wide to be a geisha!
A pink Geisha, for sure!
Unusual garb for Indian Market.
This shot reminds me of the night market here in Malaysia.
But of course the market in the picture is not at night but the feel is the same.
