The first of August already! Well it's Theme Day here at CDP and this months theme is Numbers. Sometimes you find things in places that you least expect. I caught this while out on my evening walk.

I wonder 'bout the number and what it is for. Perhaps it is to let the dogs know it's maximum capacity?
I didn't see the numbers at first, because I was distracted by the unusual subject. A very good choice for this theme day...
Fine image for the day.
very clever! (lol, i had to fix my typo, i wrote clover :D )you're very "clover" haha
Great use of the theme!
that's a cool subject. :)
I like this! Great find.
Cool shot. Nice and gritty and full of texture.
Oh, although I appreciate the patina on this plug, I think it really could use a paint job. Nice eye to spot that number. Happy August!
It looks like a little robot sitting there Randy, excellent image for today and good spotting.
That is a wonderful find! Perfect for Theme Day.

Now you're going to have to tell us how many there are in Santa Fe! :-) Love the colours and worn look. Excellent!
I love the grittiness of it and the fence behind it!
That's a unique place for a number, cool in yellow!
This works perfectly for the theme and is a neat picture too!
May life and time continue to treat it kind.
Please have a good new month.

I believe it's number is up for a new paint job!
I like it when you find something unexpected. Nice choice for the theme day!
Well done. After my senior year in high school, I worked for the town painting fire hydrants. This one looks like it was last painted around that time.
Nice!!
Ooh, this is kinda grungy. I like it.
