This is Monica Sosaya Halford, another wonderful Retablo artist at this year's market.
She also does Colcha, "Colcha is done in handspun, hand-dyed wool on a plain-woven wool ground cloth called sabanilla. Colcha is used for decorative wall pieces and altar cloths."

Such happiness in all these colors!
Very nice shot! She has such expressive hands.
Randy, since these decorations are all carefully hand made, are they expensive?
belle expression et j'aime bien les mains
These names and form of arts are almost unknown here, thank you for showing them!
I'm fascinated by the fact that so much of this art is religious in nature. Colorful, too!
I love retablos! Hers look awesome!
Such rich culture there at the Spanish market - unlike anything I have been exposed to in the places I have lived. Thx. for the education!

Wonderful indeed!
It's definitely worth taking a closer look Randy, she's a super talented lady.
How unique! She looks very serious about her work. I bet it is doubly wonderful to see it in person.
