March Theme Day: Aging

It's theme day here on City Daily Photo and this month's theme is Aging. Honestly this months theme caught me off guard. Luckily I live close to our train station where there are is an old Santa Fe Southern engine (pictured here) and a few old train cars.

I used to see Santa Fe engines pass through our town all the time. And it made me miss your great city everytime I saw them.

It is much better looking at aging things...

I'd say that Santa Fe is the perfect place for those old Santa Fe engines to land for retirement.

good job of matching your city name .. I like Sharon's comment (smile) .. theme day slipped up on me as well and I used an old photo .. you would think that I would remember there are only 28 days in February .. maybe a sing of aging.

It would seem this one's seen a lot of years on the tracks.

Perfect aging picture!

February 9th 1880 the first train pulls into the then new Santa Fe Station... What a wonderful rich history Santa Fe has when it come to the railroad!

Well, that is a perfect photo for the theme, and it ties with your city at the same time. Love the aged sign with its nicks and scrapes.
